Are you interested in some ARM Cortex-M MCU on-line training ?

Whilst browsing the EE Times website yesterday I saw an interesting advert for an EE Times University online training course titled Fundamentals of Microcontrollers (MCUs): Hands-On Workshop.

The course is presented by a fellow ARM Connected Community blogger jacobbeningo (who incidentally is also co-presenting another online resource, this time a webinar with Doulos titled Squeezing the most out of battery-life using  ARM® Cortex®-M processors)

The course looks to spend quite some time exploring the DSP capabilities of the ARM Cortex-M4 Embedded processor.

The course is split into 5 sessions, all taking place in December 2013, as summerized below:

Dec 2  Session 1 - Introduction to Microcontrollers covering such things as an Introduction to microcontrollers and Common microcontroller architectures

Dec 3 Session 2 - Selecting the Right Microcontroller detailing 10 Steps to Selecting a microcontroller

Dec 11 Session 3 - An Overview of the STM32F4 Discovery Board (Hands-On Workshop) with an Overview of the STM32F4 and The ST family of microcontrollers

Dec 12 Session 4 - Digital Signal Processing With the STM32F4 (Hands-On Workshop) vocers an Introduction to DSP with details on DSP features, DSP instructions, Floating point, and a DSP example

Dec 13 Session 5 - Introduction to Graphics Processing (Hands-On Workshop)

From the web page it also looks like the presentations are available after the event in case you can't seem them live.

I've not spoken to anyone who has attended one of these training course before so please share your experiences with the Community, highlighting any snippets of information you'd care to share !

Andy
