Today the ARM Cortex-A17 was announced. It is offering a 60% improvement over the Cortex-A9. It also has better power and area efficiency over the Cortex-A9 as well as full system coherency and big.LITTLE capability. The Cortex-A17 will be in a leading performance/power position in the mid-range mobile market in 2015.
Also announced were the Mali -T720 GPU, the Mali-DP500 display processor, and POP IP.
