appscore is a quality score which drives discovery, distribution and incentives for developers' apps. It is the core of what appbackr does. We use a machine-learning model to score every app on major platforms including Android, iOS, Chrome, BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile. It's our product used by consumers, developers and partners.
Xchange is based on the appscore and provides incentives and rewards to developers based on a ratio between the appscore and its current market performance. Based on this ratio, developers receive incentives to port apps and to promote their apps on partner sites operated by carriers, OEMs and other third parties.
Partners such as carriers, OEMs and platforms use the the appscore and Xchange to increase revenue by curating apps and reaching developers. The appscore is available as a subscription or on a pay-per-usage basis.
