There are many changes, as we are moving platforms and we hope you enjoy exploring the new Community. The major changes are:
We are moving to a single sign on solution. When fully deployed this means you will be able to use the same log in for all your Arm accounts. Currently the solution has been rolled out to Connect (Gold, Silver, Teamassist), arm.com, DesignStart and DS5. In the new Community you will use your email address to log in, rather than a username.
The Arm Connected Community will now be known simply as the Arm Community. This is in line with other websites in the Arm web ecosystem, such as Arm Developer and Arm Careers. That doesn't mean you'll be any less connected though!
The Partner Directory and the Arm Connected Community Partner Program is evolving. In 2017 we are developing a new solution. We'll be in contact with Partners to get involved soon.
Content in the current Partner Directory is under review and will be tagged and moved to other relevant Communities, such as Arm Processors, Internet of Things or Embedded. We will be working on this after phase 1 launch and through January, and expect the task to be completed early in the new year.
Blogging in the Arm Community will be limited to certain authors. We will have regular guest bloggers from the industry, established members of the Community as well as Arm employees and Partners. This is so we can better focus and later integrate content across the Arm web ecosystem.
Once the new Community is online, I'll post details on how you can become a blogger on the Arm Community.
Phase 1: begins in December and includes migrating the basic information architecture, users, groups, blogs and documents onto the new platform.
Phase 2: expected in early 2017, will include the migration of forums, tags, discussions and private messages.
This means there will be no historic discussions for a period of around six weeks over the holidays and until the end of January. You'll still be able to start new conversations in the meantime though.

Completing your profile allows others to find you. As you create your own content, ask and answer questions or share your favourite success stories you are building your following. In a Community, using your real name, location, Company and Job Title, and other information helps you connect with others seeking to collaborate, learn and build relationships.
