Yesterday there was an issue with the Single Sign-on solution that prevented members from completing the log in process and displayed an error when returned to the Community platform.
The issue was caused by an unexpected change to fix a bug, by the service provider. Testing was performed to verify the deployment, but nothing unusual was noticed at the time. After a lot of investigation, our teams eventually tracked down the issue and put a fix in place.
We don't expect this issue to occur again, but we'll be putting better monitoring in place to ensure any issues are flagged sooner to the correct support group.
