In latest Arm solution to the connection between two chips, the CCIX port is used. It uses a CXRA and a CXHA as the agent for the transaction transmission.
The function is to convert the CHI interface into CXS interface.
My question is that : can we remove the CXRA/CXHA and directly transmit the flits between the two chips(Using the local/remote original interconnect home agent)? From the materials, it seems that the CXRA/CXHA only serve as an agent for accumulating the information, what if we do not transform the CHI into CCIX requests?
