SUMMARY:Webinar: Using "Modern C++" for Efficient Embedded Systems
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:"Modern C++" is a term frequently used to describe software that takes advantage of the significant enhancements added to the C++ language by the C++11 and C++14 standards. Many of the C++11 and C++14 features are useful for both large and small embedded systems and are supported by current industry standard tools. \n In this webinar we will introduce the C++ language constructs and coding styles that are suitable for an embedded system based around an ARM Cortex-M microcontroller. We will show how a C++ application using the latest language features results in code that is easier to reuse and maintain without incurring a significant overhead when compared to traditional C approaches. \n You can expect to learn about: \n \n Improvements to types and literal values \n Encapsulation with reusable classes \n Improved safety with compile-time checks and computation \n Useful containers and algorithms \n Taking control of memory allocation \n Integration with existing C code \n \n The webinar will be presented by our training partner Doulos . Doulos and Keil personnel will be available to answer your questions. Keil MDK will be used to demonstrate the C++ examples presented. \n There will be two sessions on May 24th: 11 am CEST and 10 am PDT. Register here .
