Arm TechCon 2018 Call for Papers is Now Open

The Technical Program Committee for Arm TechCon 2018 is now accepting technical session papers for the conference, which will take place October 16-18, 2018. Designers, engineers, and developers are encouraged to submit their papers for technical presentations or panels for the three-day event at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA.

Technical Tracks

  • Automotive, Industrial & Functional Safety
  • Connected Devices & Cloud Services
  • Edge Computing & Machine Learning
  • Embedded Software Development
  • High-Efficiency Systems
  • System Design Methodology
  • Trust & Security

Due to the considerable number of submissions we receive each year, not every submission can be selected.

Strong speaker submissions feature

  1. Real-life use cases and demonstrations. Sales pitches are discouraged unless as an after-thought to broader discussions around challenges and solutions.
  2. Actionable takeaways for attendees. What is the tangible impact of your talk on attendees and their Arm-based system design or software development efforts?
  3. Clear focus on attendees of a specific role. Who would benefit the most from your presentation?
  4. Guidance on necessary technical knowledge. What proficiency level is required to easily digest your presentation?
  5. In-demand, unique or non-obvious design or development of an Arm-based product.
  6. Engaging, inspiring, and fun titles and descriptions.

All papers will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and will be evaluated based on quality, relevance, impact, and originality.

The papers deadline is June 8, 2018
