Arm is constantly looking to improve how it provides access to its technology. Our aim is to make it easier for partners to take advantage of Arm's technology and reach their goals quicker. We are transforming our IP delivery systems to adapt to changes in how Arm licenses IP, moving away from legacy platforms and providing our partners with a modern and responsive user experience.
Connect will be replaced by the Product Download Hub (PDH). PDH is a much simpler IP delivery interface which enables customers to download their IP with one click. It is already being used to support downloads for the Arm Flexible Access program. Eventually, PDH will be the one place to download all your Arm IP.We will also move to product-based downloads, as opposed to parts – making it easier for you to browse, search, select and ultimately download IP. Product notifications will be simpler, more informative and also at the product level. It will be easier for you to know when products have changed, what the changes are and if you need to download an update.My Services, an additional capability being developed by Arm, will also provide you with self-management of IP download rights and notifications. This is a strategic transformation program and will run for the next few quarters. There will be various iterative releases, the first change was rolled out in August 2021. A large portion of the IP available with Connect will be accessible to download through the Product Download Hub (PDH). Further iterations will see all products migrate from Connect to PDH, with Connect being decommissioned early in 2022. PDH will then be your primary download platform for Arm IP.
